This filet mignon with mustard yogurt sauce is our new way to enjoy steaks as a family. So much so that it has been on heavy repeat. It absolutely satisfies me to see my boys eat so healthy and so well. It costs no one zero to have more than one serving around here and after all, they are growing boys. This is such a simple yet show stopping meal to enjoy on any night. Enjoy!

Filet Mignon with Yogurt Mustard Sauce
Ingredients
- 5 filet mignons
- olive oil spray
- 2 Tbsp garlic, mashed
- 1 cup whole fat yogurt (unflavored)
- 2.5 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Maille Dijon mustard
- 1.5 tsp garlic, mashed
- 1 tsp Maldon salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Prepare
- First, oil a gas grill with extra virgin olive oil spray and bring to high heat.
- Place your filets in a bowl and spray with olive oil. Spread the mashed garlic evenly all over the steaks and let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Next, grill the steaks for three minutes then turn and grill for another 3 minutes.
- Turn the steaks opposite of how you started to get perfect crosshatch grill marks and grill 3 more minutes. Turn them the opposite way one last time and finish the steaks off for five minutes and plate them all. Allow the steaks to cool.
- In a bowl mix together the yogurt, extra virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, mashed garlic, salt, and black pepper and mix well until all combined.
- Finally, plate each stake and spoon some of the steak drippings over each steak and serve with the sauce on the side. Enjoy!
