There is no such thing as work-life balance and th

There is no such thing as work-life balance and there’s definitely not a one size fits all. Balance is something you become aware of. In the Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna tells young Ajuna of the three gunas, stemming from Samkhya philosophy, and are the fundamental forces of nature and people: sattva, rajas, and tamas. Rajas is characterized by passion, desire, effort, and pain. Highly rajastic characteristics are really energetic and intense. Tamas are steady, stale, inactive. Highly tamastic characteristics tend to be lethargic, procrastinators, and love to sleep. Sattvic characteristics include balance, harmony, purity, being-ness. Each of has has woven into us different levels or degrees of each of these gunas. There may be one ever prevalent guns governing the rest. I’m a have been a highly rajastic person my whole life and there’s much love I have in knowing this and who I am. It is within the last two years of doing my own personal shadow work that I’ve come to find my own balance with playing with my sattvic and tamastic threads already woven within me. That balance might even fluctuate with the seasons, months, weeks, and even within each day. When you begin to understand how these gunas are at play within you you can find balance in the activities you do daily at work, home, the foods you consume, the people you interact with, everything. Ingredients

12 ounces ground chicken thigh meat
1/3 cup finely chopped scallions, white and light green parts only (about 3 medium scallions)
2 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1/2 tablespoon dry sherry
2 tablespoon lower-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon ground white or black pepper
SAUCE

3 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
2.5 tablespoons regular soy sauce
1.5 tablespoons chile oil or toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS

Flour, as needed
50 pot sticker or gyoza wrappers
1.5 tablespoons canola oil
sesame seeds for sprinkling
