This fig and parmesan snack has to be the simplest yet most delicious after school snack that we have had on heavy rotation as of late. It’s low glycemic, offers a bit of protein via the parmesan cheese, and is sure to make adults and kids alike very happy. In an effort to stay away from junk after school and to beat the post school food binging, I have been beating my kids to the punch with preparing them snacks such as these. But be warned, they don’t last long and it will at least hold them over until dinner time. Enjoy!

Fig and Parmesan Snack
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz. block of Parmesan cheese
- 1 pint of Brown Turkey figs
- honey
- Glazed balsamic vinegar
Prepare
- First, cut the parmesan into thick rectangles and place them on a plate or board of choice.
- Next, halve the figs and place them on top of the parmesan pieces.
- Drizzle each with honey then the glazed balsamic vinegar.
- Enjoy!
