This honey garlic chicken recipe is on heavy repeat at our house. My sons are loving this one lately and asking for it once a week. It’s simple to make but yields big flavor. You can feel free to change it up and grill it but honestly roasting them in the oven in the way I did will be your new favorite! Enjoy!

Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 pack chicken thighs, 6 thighs, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Finishing Glaze
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup soy sauce
- juice of 2 lemons
- 3 tbsp honey
Prepare
- First, place the chicken thighs in a large bowl and mix in the olive oil and all of the seasonings to coat thoroughly. Marinate for 1 hour or more.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Farhenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Put the cubed chicken onto chicken skewers and placed them on the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake the skewers for 15 minutes.
- In the meantime, add all of the glaze ingredients to a small sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- Glaze the chicken with the glaze/sauce and bake 5-7 more minutes.
- Finally, serve the skewers alongside some white rice or side of choice and enjoy!
