I’ve been more into gin the last 5 years or so now. I don’t think I was ever not a fan of it, I just had focused on other liquors for so long that I hadn’t given it much attention until a family trip we had back in December of 2021 to New York City. This Frozen French 75 has been in my bookmarks for a while. I recently bought myself Procera Gin, from Nairobi, Kenya. I wanted to get it during my trip but I already travel so light that I passed on it and figured I could order it online later on. I can’t believe I waited as long as I did to get it. It is very bright, citrus/floral like, and goes down super smooth.
Frozen French 75
Ingredients
- 4 oz. gin, I used Procera
- 2 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 8 oz. champagne
- 2 cups ice
- 4 lemon twists
Prepare
- First, prepare lemon twists in advance by cutting 1 inch pieces of the lemon. Cut as much of the lemon as possible without the pith.
- Next, place gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, champagne, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Finally, pour into four glasses and garnish with lemon twists.
