If we aren’t baking up a storm of cookies in the kitchen on Christmas then I don’t want it. This is a late post of course as we were supposed to make these around Christmas time but we busy baking 5 other variety of cookies in the kitchen this past Christmas. These Christmas kitchen sink cookies are the perfect marriage between sweet and salty. The mini pretzels impart a perfect amount of saltiness that make you crave more with every bite! I hope you enjoy making these at Christmas time, if you like us, any time!

- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. Madagascar Vanilla Bean Paste
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup holiday M&M’s
- 1/4 cup mini pretzels
- 1/8 cup white snowflake sprinkles
Prepare
- First, make browned butter by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until browned (about 5 minutes), then let cool for 30 minutes.
- Next, preheat the oven to 350 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooled butter with brown sugar, granulated sugar, honey, egg, and vanilla paste until well combined.
- Stir in flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda until smooth, then fold in chocolate chips, M&M’s, mini pretzels, and snowflake sprinkles. Save some of the mix-ins to top for prettier cookies.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, topping with extra chocolate chips if desired, and bake for 12 minutes, rotating trays if using two at a time, until edges are golden.
- Finally, allow to cool and enjoy!
